State’s auto insurance shift takes effect April 1

BOSTON - Push in Massachusetts to open the market for automobile insurance more effectively compete Tuesday. Massachusetts was the last Member State in the country where regulatory authorities unique insurance. This changed when Gov. Deval Patrick pushed by the new rules, as he called “Managed Competition” in the market. He said, save the changes, motorists 10% or more on auto insurance rates. Auto-owner of the search for new strategies - or hope to renew existing policies - can now shop around for better prices. Companies that have already registered their price for the state, and changes have at least one new insurer with major Massachusetts. |
